Teen Mom 2 featured a square off between Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin alongside a Mother’s Day blowout from Jenelle Evans and her mother Barbara. Follow along for more details and more of the biggest moments of last night’s episode of Teen Mom 2:
Kailyn Lowry wanted to prepare the nursery for her newborn’s arrival so her ex Javi took on the responsibility of looking after their son Isaac. Javi taught Isaac to ride a bike and Kailyn rushed to watch with a tear in her eye during this milestone. The seemingly positive relationship between the exes went quickly downhill when Javi decided to apply for child support. “I always knew he had it in his back pocket, but I didn’t think that he would actually file,” Kailyn told a producer.
Meanwhile, Jenelle Evans was far from pleased when she learned that she would not be spending Mother’s Day with her son Jace. Jenelle received a phone call from her mother Barbara saying that Jenelle could meet Jace at the park but her fiance David Eason was not allowed to attend. The conversation quickly turned into a heated argument where Barbara admitted she was uncomfortable around David because he was always recording her. “You’re the grandmother and you need to learn your f–king place,” Jenelle screamed.
Leah Messer had her own fair share of drama this episode with daughter Ali and made her way to a specialized doctor to help diagnose her daughter’s breathing issues. The visit confirmed that her issues were not linked to Muscular Dystrophy and although Leah was relieved, she still seemed skeptical.“We’ll just take it one day at a time,” she said to her ex Corey Simms.
One of the biggest moments for Chelsea Houska this episode was her daughter finishing the last day of first grade. “It won’t hit me until she actually starts,” she said. Chelsea was filled with emotion during this milestone and felt a little bittersweet despite the celebrations and party.
Elsewhere, Briana DeJesus and her family were preparing for the baby shower with the added pressure of her family not knowing that DeJesus and Luis were broken up. While out, Briana sent a message to Luis and told him that her family did not know about his cheating and wanted him to act as if nothing happened between them. He agreed to pretending like the relationship was solid between them but this didn’t stop DeJesus from prying him with questions.
