Chrisley Knows Best’s Todd Chrisley recently weighed in on the rumors about Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Judge’s husband, Eddie Judge.
Real Housewives of Orange County aired a controversial episode last Monday where former housewife Gretchen Rossi appeared at Vicki Gunvalson’s birthday party with her friend Ricky Santana. At the party Santana claimed that he saw Tamra’s husband Eddie kissing a man years back and suggested that he was gay.
Chrisley, who has been married to his wife Julie for 21 years, has also been accused of being gay and shared his opinion on the debacle with Us Weekly. “I think it’s horrible that this world goes to such levels,” Chrisley said of the accusations against Eddie. “I would never try to hurt anyone intentionally. It’s not my character.”
“I find it shameful that as voyeurs, we as a society will watch on the edge of our seats the take down of another human being and applaud it. It’s barbaric. Someone’s sexual orientation or race or religion isn’t a weapon to be used against them.”
Tamra Judge had her own opinion about the matter and took to Instagram to clap back against anyone questioning her husband. “How orchestrated and wrong was that? The worst acting I’ve ever seen. They are nothing but homophobic bullies that think it’s okay to try and Out a straight man hoping to humiliate him,” she wrote.
“Well guess what it didn’t work! It’s Not the 1920’s and being gay is not something to be ashamed of or mocked. You should all be ashamed of yourself. We all know who was behind this …. bye.”
