Fast & Furious series star Vin Diesel took to Instagram on November 4 to wish Paul Walker’s daughter, Meadow Walker, a happy 21st birthday message.
“I could say that I am so proud of the person you are becoming… but the truth is I have always been proud of you,” captioned Diesel’s post on Monday. “Happy Birthday Meadow! I know it’s your 21st and you wanted to go big in Japan, but the family has a cake waiting for you when you get home, so hurry. Love you kid. Uncle Vin.”
“Thank you so much. I can’t wait to see you soon. And my little angels. Love you,” commented Meadow.
Since Paul’s passing almost six years ago, Meadow has continued to have a strong bond with Diesel’s family. As a matter of fact, the actor named his youngest daughter, Pauline, after Walker, and Meadow spends time frequently with the family – especially his daughters.
Back in September, Diesel and other fellow Fast & Furious cast members honored Paul on what would have been his 46th birthday. Musician and actor Tyrese Gibson wrote a sweet letter to his late friend, that focused on the times they spent together and also praising his daughter. “Dear Paul, I miss you everyday bro with my whole heart!” wrote Tyrese. “You were truly a friend and brother in deed….: Your trailer on set was always next to mines. You gave some of the best hugs… Your laughter was infectious once you started laughing it would change the mood of any room or anyone that was around….”
Today, Meadow continues to uphold her father’s legacy via the Paul Walker Foundation, which advocates for ocean and wildlife conservation.
