Kate Gosselin is known for her nasty divorce from Jon Gosselin and the pair have often gone back in the forth in the media bashing each other, and Gosselin had some more words for her ex while on Dr. Oz. In an interview that will air in full on Thursday, December 15, Kate said that her eight kids want some stability, especially when it comes to their father.
“They want a dad who’s there for them. If I’m gonna be really honest, there was kind of the old Jon and the new Jon and none of us can quite understand, like, what happened there. So we struggled together. I mean, they coined it years ago, old daddy and new daddy. That’s understandable, but, like, hard to kind of digest for all of us,” the 41-year-old told the doctor.
The pair became famous after they got pregnant with sextuplets after already having twins, but after a very rough patch in their marriage divorced in 2009. Lately, the family has been making headlines with the news that one of their sextuplets, Colin, is living away from home at a learning facility.
Despite the fact they have often slammed each other in the media, Kate told Extra, “I support the kids and their relationship [with him] — some visit, some choose not to, some visit sometimes. I support them and what they want so they can be happy and whole.”
