Chance Chancellor is going to be replaced by a new actor this coming week on The Young and The Restless!
As first reported by Soap Opera Digest, Melissa Ordway’s husband and fellow soap actor Justin Gaston will be temporarily stepping in for Donny Boaz as Chance at the beginning of the week of November 23.
Melissa Ordway plays Abby Newman on The Young and the Restless and her husband Justin will be playing her spouse on-screen when he steps into the role of Chance.
The reason for the quick temporary recasting is because Danny Boaz, who traditionally plays Chance, has tested positive for coronavirus and must go into quarantine at home.
Many soap opera fans likely recognize Justin Gaston from his former role as Ben Weston on Days of Our Lives. In July, many fans predicted that Gaston would end up on The Young And The Restless and now that the time has come, we look forward to seeing him act alongside his real-life wife, Melissa Ordway!
