Former Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans has been granted a temporary restraining order against her husband David Eason less than one week after she announced that she had split from Eason.
According to multiple reports, Evans was granted the restraining order after she claimed in documents that she was fearful of the safety of herself and her children: Kaiser, 5, who she shares with ex Nathan Griffith, and daughter Ensley, 2, whom she shares with Eason.
“Because of his recent threats, his history of violence, his erratic behavior and his large stockpile of weapons, I am scared for my life and my children’s well-being,” Evans claimed in the documents that were filed on November 4, 2019. The granted order gives Jenelle temporary custody of the children and “mandates that David will have no contact with Jenelle or the children and will not post about Jenelle on social media or the internet,”
In the documents, Jenelle reportedly accused Eason of at least 11 separate incidents of verbal and physical abuse over the past two years, and included the highly publicized story of Eason killing her small dog Nugget earlier this year.
In a separate incident last month Evans said Eason texted her stating, “My goal in life is to make sure you regret leaving me like this.”
“Given his actions and knowing his temperament, I believe he was implying that he would kill himself if I do not come back to him,” Evans wrote in the filing, E! News reported. “For all of these reasons, I’m afraid that David will harm me or my children, and that he will continue to threaten me using text messages, phone calls, or on the internet.”
The Ashley also reported that Jenelle is so fearful of David and his actions that she left their home together which they call The Land in North Carolina and has no plans to return to her home or the state. Jenelle is in hiding,” a source told The Ashley. “She has no plans to return to The Land. She has left the state and does not plan to come back to North Carolina for her stuff or anything. The kids are with her.”
On Tuesday, November 5, Eason claimed on Facebook that he was going to have to file a missing person’s report because he said Jenelle “disappeared” with their daughter. While it has not been confirmed that Eason filed the report, that same day he did call 911 claiming someone had stolen his dog. “I think someone stole my dog and I want to make a report,” he told the operator, according to audio obtained by the site. “I heard a car come down the road and stop. My driveway is really long, so I couldn’t really see, but I heard a car stop and I heard the dogs bark a couple of times. Then one dog came running back, and the other dog has been gone ever since. I didn’t see the car.”
On Thursday, October 31, Jenelle took to social media to announce that she had left Eason and was in the process of filing for separation.
“With time away from Teen Mom, I’ve started to look at my life differently and I know I need to make changes. I’m starting that now,” she wrote on Instagram at the time. “The kids and I have moved away from David. Nobody gets into a marriage expecting it to end but I know that’s what is best for me, and for my kids. Today I’ve filed papers to start that process. I appreciate the support from everybody who has asked how I am. Me and the kids are doing great. We need some time to be together, but you’ll hear from us again soon.”
