Demi Lovato is not self-conscious about her freckles!
The 21 year-old singer posted a close-up photo to social media, showing off her makeup-free face as she emerged from the pool. What we’re not used to seeing: she’s covered in freckles from spending time in the sun!
She also showed off her beach bod, posting a bikini selfie as she laid out in a lounge chair. She says that getting fit is her new hobby, and she loves it. Check out the video to see Demi’s new pics!
Demi also told fans that she “had a spiritual retreat last week full of organic food, working out, meditation and reiki healing…I feel so ready for this summer!!!”
The “Heart Attack” singer has battled an eating disorder in the past, so we’re glad she’s on a healthy, happy path.
“I started compulsively overeating at a very young age. And then I almost stopped eating altogether at the age of 12, after being harassed by kids at school, for being ‘fat,'” she told Seventeen magazine.
“My eating disorder will continue to affect me for the rest of my life, but I’m proud to say that I got the help I needed, and am now the happiest and healthiest I have ever been!”
