The long anticipated engagement of Prince Harry and actress Meghan Markle was announced yesterday and fans are still swooning over how adorable this newly engaged couple looked during their first public appearance!
While Harry suited up in a navy suit and skinny tie, Markle kept warm and stayed true to her Canadian roots by rocking a chic wrap-style coat. The cream outerwear piece was an instant hit and was sold out on the Canadian brand Line The Label before noon! To honor the moment, the brand released a statement saying they would be changing the name of the luxe coat to the “Meghan.”
Markle accessorized her coat with a pair of nude lace-up heels that have been one of her go-to staples in the past few years. The shoes are from the Italian designer, Aquazzura, and are titled the Matilde Crisscross Suede 105mm Pump.
For accessories, Markle kept it minimal aside from the incredible engagement ring she showed off on her finger! The ring was designed by Prince Harry and featured a diamond from Botswana, where the couple spent time together during their early months of dating, alongside two diamonds from his mother Lady Diana’s personal collection.
