Ranked: The Top Celebrity Wedding Dresses Of 2018

2018 was filled with many lavish celebrity weddings this year, which means that there were quite a few highly-anticipated bridal looks to go alongside them. Celebrities have a tendency to think outside the box when it comes to their wedding gown and often opt for the non-traditional route, so this year we saw everything from capes, to rompers to pink ruffles in the bridal department. Follow along as we rank our favorite wedding gowns from 2018!

15. Mandy Moore

Mandy Moore stepped out to marry the Dawes lead singer Taylor Goldsmith in a backyard, private ceremony this past November. Rather than a traditional white wedding gown, Moore opted for something totally different and walked down the aisle wearing bubblegum pink. While we think that Moore’s tall, slender figure works well with the tier-detailing of this dress, we’re not sure we love this style dress in combination with the color pink. It simply felt a little too foofy than classic. Nevertheless, Moore absolutely dazzled when she walked down the aisle and was smiling from ear to ear, which is the most important of all!

14. Kaley Cuoco

Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco took a romp down the aisle this year to marry Karl Cook where she wore a lace Reem Acra dress and a matching cape. The star channeled old Hollywood glamour with the 1920’s-inspired bridal look, which E! News confirmed was custom designed and took a shocking 400 hours to construct. While we love the idea of the cape, it seemed a little overwhelming with all the beading and detail already happening on the actual dress.

13. Denise Richards

Real Housewives star Denise Richards married Aaron Phypers in a last minute September ceremony in Malibu this year. For the intimate beach ceremony, Richards wore a romper dress designed by Mark Zunino. “24 hours to make a wedding dress? NO PROBLEM!!” Zunino captioned a photo of himself and Richards wearing the minidress with intricate embroidery and a sheer skirt. Fans weren’t shy to voice their opinions about the untraditional wedding dress, but Denise defended her look by explaining, “It’s a sexy dress and it’s fun. It was appropriate because we got married in Malibu overlooking the ocean. I’m a beachy girl. I like that it was short and it wasn’t a gown.”

12. Felicity Jones

British actress Felicity Jones married director Charles Guard this year in an elegant, private ceremony at Sudeley Castle in Gloucestershire, England. Jones wore a custom-made Erdem couture gown that featured a high-neckline, dainty buttons trailing the bodice and sheer detailing. While a highly modest and vintage-inspired dress like this wouldn’t suit everyone, we think it was quite fitting for the refined wedding affair and worked well on Jones.

9. Kelly Rizzo

Full House star Bob Saget and longtime girlfriend Kelly Rizzo tied the knot this past year in a late October ceremony. Rizzo’s lace-covered dress was designed by Pronovias and featured sheer detailing and long sleeves.  The dress undoubtedly looked stunning on Rizzo, but it was simply a little too skin-baring to be one of our absolute favorites for the year of 2018!

1. Princess Eugenie

Of all the wedding dresses we’ve seen in 2018, our absolute favorite had to be the regal dress worn by Princess Eugenie when she married longtime boyfriend Jack Brooksbank. Her royal wedding look was designed by Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos which featured a slight off-the-shoulder neckline and a Princess-style shape. We especially love the fact that Eugenie designed the dress to have a low back and show off a surgery scar on her back as a move of empowerment.
