The stars of Hollywood are notorious for taking advantage of every opportunity they can that allows them to dress to the nines, and especially on Halloween! From nostalgic throwbacks of decades past or current pop culture phenomenons, these stars have thought of everything and are the first to start Halloween costume trends for fans to follow in the years to come. Follow along for 10 of the most epic costumes we’ve seen so far on Halloween 2017 and take note for inspiration for your own costume next year:

10. Sarah Hyland & Wells Adams

Stranger Things-inspired looks seems to be one of the most popular costumes for Halloween 2017! Although we’ve seen quite a few renditions of this look this year, we have to admit that we love the version created by Bachelor star Wells Adams and Modern Family actress Sarah Hyland! The duo have been rumored to be dating and this photo definitely fueled even more suspicion. Hyland rocked Dustin’s signature hat while Adams wore Eleven’s pink dress and blonde wig combo. Wells even held a box of Eleven’s favorite snack – Eggo’s waffles!

9. Dean Unglert

Dean Unglert and his friend threw it back to their ’90s childhood with this classic Nickelodeon cartoon-inspired look! The pals played out the classic characters from Hey Arnold with Unglert wearing Arnold’s signature hair piece on the sides of a light blue cap as well as his classic attire. His friend matched him and dressed up as Gerald by wearing a head piece similar to his hair and his signature red 33 hoodie!

8. Paris Hilton

Paris Hilton channeled her inner classic Disney character by dressing up as Princess Jasmine from Aladdin. She definitely took all the stops with this look and we think she looks fantastic! The star rocked a powder blue ensemble complete with arm cuffs, a head piece and sparkly golden pumps. She also wore gorgeous metallic makeup and bedazzled her face to match the embellishments on her outfit.

7. Rita Ora

Rita Ora definitely had quite the unique costume this year! The singer dressed up as “poison ivy” and completed her look with a bodysuit covered in fake leaves and glitter as well as a sheer, sparkly cape. She rocked bright green fishnet stockings, long red curls and she bedazzled her eyebrows and forehead to match the shades of green on her outfit.

6. Ellie Goulding

Ellie Goulding perfectly encapsulated country superstar Dolly Parton with her Halloween ensemble this year! She wore glittering knee high boots, a classic Western-style dress and impersonated Dolly’s signature curls by wearing a teased, blonde wig. She topped the look off with a demure red pout and totally stole the show with her Parton-inspired look.

5. Halsey & G-Eazy

Halsey and G-Eazy took on the roaring ’20 this Halloween and perfectly played the part of beloved couple Gatsby and Daisy from The Great Gatbsy! G-Eazy looked ultra dapper with his crisp white suit, perfectly polished hair and classic Gatsby cane. Halsey channeled her inner flapper girl with a Daisy-inspired platinum blonde wig, bedazzled dress and classic tiara hair band.

4. Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian is known for going above and beyond for Halloween and this year was no different! She’s previously spoke openly about Cher being her style icon, so it doesn’t come as much of a surprise that she channeled her look this year. Kim and her best friend Jonathan Cheban showed off a nearly identical imitation of Sonny and Cher at the Academy Awards in 1973 and looked absolutely fabulous!

3. Jessica Alba

Jessica Alba used her baby bump to her advantage this Halloween! The star dressed up as Ellen Page’s character Juno from the 2007 film titled by the same name. She completed the look with a striped red shirt, camouflage sweater, a skirt over jeans and classic running shoes. Her friend Kelly matched with her and played Michael Cera’s character as the duo impersonated the iconic movie poster that was plastered everywhere back during the time of the film’s release.

2. Amal Clooney

Amal Clooney dressed up like a glamorous disco diva this Halloween by channeling her inner ’70s queen! Clooney rocked a massive wig full of sparkly, teased curls and a pair of super oversized hoop earrings. She wore a pair of bold circle sunglasses and a sparkly dress that was completely bedazzled from head to toe!

1. Lauren Conrad

Fashionista and former The Hills star Lauren Conrad is the queen of Halloween and year after year she starts a new costume trend with her stylish look! For 2017 she channeled her inner Disney villain Cruella de Vil from 101 Dalmatians. To achieve the look, Conrad dyed her hair half white, half black and wore a simple black slip dress. To add Cruella’s glam factor, Conrad draped a fur coat over her shoulders and wore red leather gloves, which matched perfectly with her red pout!
