The Bachelor/Bachelorette’s Best Finale Dresses

Since Becca Kufrin’s season of The Bachelorette is about to commence, we decided it was time to reminisce about Bachelor Nation’s past and rank the best finale dresses to ever hit the show. The concluding episode of the show where the leading lady or man selects “the one” often showcases the most extravagant and anticipated style moment of the entire season. Who wouldn’t want to look absolutely fabulous on the day of their highly-public potential engagement? From Lauren Bushnell’s cobalt number to Rachel Lindsay’s silver sparkle stunner, follow along for 10 of the best Bachelor/Bachelorette finale dresses ever:

10. Vienna Girardi, Season 14

Although Jake Pavelka’s season of the Bachelor was rocky to say the least, the gorgeous gown that Vienna Girardi wore the night of their proposal absolutely stunned. The turquoise shade of the dress looked gorgeous with Girardi’s bleach blonde hair and was the perfect color selection for a proposal by the sea. Although Girardi is notorious for her villain status on the show, we have to give her props for this beachy Carmen Marc Valvo gown.

9. Jillian Harris, Season 5

Although Jillian Harris and Ed Swiderski are no longer engaged and she’s since found love with a new beau, the star still looked like a Goddess the night of her engagement back in season 5. Her deep tan paired flawlessly with the powder pink gown and the minimalist ruching around the bust was highly flattering. The strapless gown flared out into a subtle A-line skirt that just skimmed the floor. Although this dress wasn’t extravagant by any means, the eye-catching diamond necklace she wore definitely was!

8. Lauren Bushnell, Season 20

Although the two have recently announced their separation, the night that Ben Higgins proposed to Lauren Bushnell on the season 20 finale gave way to a top-notch style moment. Bushnell glided over to Higgins in a slinky cobalt blue gown that featured a high neckline and floor-skimming hem. The ultra sleek design didn’t need much more embellishment after she accepted the 4.6-carat diamond engagement ring from Higgins.

7. Tessa Horst, Season 10

Tessa Horst was thrilled when US Naval Officer Andy Baldwin gave her the final rose and got down on one knee on the season 10 finale. Her dress is another example of simplicity at its finest. Similar to Bushnell, the gown featured a sleek bodycon design and a flattering ombre effect that began around the neckline with a mint green that darkened along the length of the floor-skimming gown.

6. Vanessa Grimaldi, Season 21

Vanessa Grimaldi’s enviable hourglass figure could pull off any look when it comes to fashion, but the sleek and sparkly number she donned the night she was proposed to by Nick Viall undeniably turned heads. In the chilly climate of Finland, wearing a slinky spaghetti-strap dress would be highly impractical, so the star opted for a chic fur outerwear piece to drape over her shoulders. Black seems an unconventional color to wear on the day you’re getting proposed to, but Grimaldi pulled it off flawlessly as she stole the heart of Nick Viall.

5. Emily Maynard, Season 15

Southern belle Emily Maynard looked drop dead gorgeous in this sweeping peach-colored gown the night she gave her final rose to Jef Holm. Although Maynard and Holm’s engagement was quickly broken off after the show, this smokey salmon dress definitely endured in our minds. The wrapped detailing along the bodice was ultra flattering, especially since it was intertwined with silver jewel embellishment.

4. Kaitlyn Bristowe, Season 11

Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe’s finale dress had everything — sparkle, elegance and a slight edginess. The shimmery nude gown was designed by Mac Dugal and featured a dramatic slit detailing that was scalloped and layered. The glitzy design left fiancee Shawn Booth speechless and the couple remains one of the few Bachelor nation duos that are still together after the show’s conclusion.

3. Rachel Lindsay, Season 13

The beaded silver number that Rachel Lindsay donned while getting engaged to Bryan Abasolo was a definite show stopper. The dress was designed by Randi Rham who described Rachel’s decision to wear his dress as the finale look as a no-brainer. “We sent this dress specifically to be the finale gown,” Rahm told PEOPLE. “It was spotted by her stylist Cary [Fetman] first and we agreed, it was the best choice for her.” The final scene of the finale features Bryan Abasolo struggling to carry Lindsay down a steep hill in the Spanish countryside. We can’t blame Abasolo though because designer Rham has admitted the dress was “at least 30 pounds” due to the heavy embellishment.

2. Ashley Hebert, Season 7

The soft pink gown that Ashley Hebert wore on the season 7 finale of The Bachelorette was undeniably one of the best the show has seen. The extravagant gown was designed by Randi Rham and was laced from head to toe with Swarovski crystals. The blush gown featured hand-stitched silver beading and delicate ostrich feather detailing, which brought the total cost of the dress to an astounding $16,790!

1. Jojo Fletcher, Season 12

When Jojo Fletcher accepted a proposal from Jordan Rodgers on the season 12 Bachelorette finale, fans were in awe of the stunning ivory Badgley Mischka dress the 25-year old donned. The floor-length gown boasted an intricately beaded low-cut bodice and flowing chiffon skirt. The frothy number was perfection for a beach engagement and the beginning of a blossoming romance to her gorgeous new fiancee!
