When Kim Kardashian hooked up with Kris Humphries, she was desperate to marry anyone – as long he was a professional athlete. Humphries came along at the right time and, even though the rest of us were totally repulsed by him in every conceivable way, she convinced herself they were meant to be. When she filed for divorce after only 72 days of marriage, some of us were left wondering how she even stayed with him that long.
