This week on Days of Our Lives (DOOL) fans will shed tears of joy and sorrow over characters that say goodbye and couples that reunite. Days‘ fans will also be shocked over a Salemite’s death near the end of the week. Below are five DOOL spoilers for the week of August 21st.

5. Saying Goodbye To Joey

The Johnson family will be highly emotional this week as they say goodbye to Joey. It won’t be easy for Steve or Kayla, but they have accepted Joey’s decision to confess to Ava’s murder and he’ll prepare to head to prison. There will be a lot of tears from Kayla and Steve will let Joey know how proud he is of him for owning up to what he’s done. Tripp will also struggle with saying goodbye to his new brother.

4. Chad Pops The Question

Onto some good news! Chad asks Abigail to marry him and Abby will be over the moon at the thought of heading down that aisle again with Chad. Seems like Chabby is back on and with full force! One person who won’t be too thrilled? Gabi! She’ll struggle this week with the idea of what could have been between her and Chad.

3. Nicole Murdered Deimos?

Nicole will think about the night of Deimos’ death and that party. She’ll ponder the idea of telling Eric there is a possibility that she killed the Greek, but as we soap fans know, this most likely isn’t the case. DOOL spoilers indicate that Deimos’ murderer may finally be revealed near the end of this week. Not only will a killer be identified to viewers, but a motive will be as well.

2. Bonnie Continues Her Scheming

That Bonnie! She’ll be juggling two of Adrienne’s men this week. First, Justin will be happier than he’s ever been over reuniting with Adrienne (who is really just Bonnie pretending to be her). Bonnie plays with fire when she decides to make love to Lucas as well. Thankfully, Lucas is drunk and doesn’t notice anything different when it comes to Adrienne’s body. Jenn and Abigail will stress over Lucas and how his drinking is spiraling out of control.

1. More Spoilers!

Roman makes a bold move this week and kisses Kate. This of course will make Andre steaming mad. Clearly Andre has deeper feelings for Kate than simply just business dealings. In other DOOL spoiler news, Marlena and John share a beautiful reunion. Still, all the warm and happy feelings that this produces for Days‘ fans may be short-lived. DOOL spoilers are indicating a surprising death will occur during Friday’s episode. You won’t want to miss it!
