Former Bachelor Contestants Who Are Now BFFs Off-Screen

Although many of the women go on The Bachelor to find love (and commonly state they aren’t there to make friends), statistically they’re more likely to leave with a bestie than a fiance. The nature of the show has women together in close quarters under stressful circumstances and they spend more time with each other than the man they intend to marry, so they end up forming really strong friendships. Many of these friendships outlast any Bachelor relationship and actually thrive off-screen! Here are 16 former Bachelor contestants who are now BFFs off-screen!

16. Vanessa Grimaldi and Taylor Nolan

Taylor Nolan was one of those contestants who used the infamous “I’m not here to make friends” line, which she made especially clear with Corrine Olympios. Regardless of her intentions, she did walk away with a few friendships! Ever since Nick Viall’s season of The Bachelor ended, Nolan has remained close with fellow contestant Vanessa Grimaldi. A quick glance at both of their Instagram accounts proves these two still hang out quite frequently and have a blast together! They met on the very first night when they rode in the limo together to meet Nick Viall for the first time.

15. Carly Waddell and Jade Roper

These two ladies met while competing for Chris Soules’ final rose on season 19 of The Bachelor and later on season 2 of Bachelor in Paradise when Jade Roper met her husband Tanner Tolbert. Jade and Carly Waddell (who is now married to Evan Bass) have one of the strongest friendships on this list. When The Bachelor finished, Jade moved to Nashville, where Carly lives which allowed them to become even closer, close enough that they were bridesmaids at each other’s weddings! To further prove our point, these two made “friendship goals” T-shirts together — we’ll let those speak for themselves.

14. Lauren Bushnell and Amanda Stanton

Lauren Bushnell and Amanda Stanton first met on the 20th season of The Bachelor while they both vied for Ben Higgin’s final rose. Both ladies made it into the final four and even though Amanda didn’t get the guy in the end (Ben became engaged to Lauren, but they later broke up), she found a lifelong friend! She did not let the fact that Ben chose another woman over her get in the way. After the show wrapped up, these two remained really close, and now that Lauren is no longer with Ben, she’s packed up her things in Denver and moved to California where Amanda lives. They’ve worked together on modeling shoots and spoken out in support of each other in the media.

13. Amanda Stanton and Emily & Haley Ferguson

It seems like Ben Higgin’s season of The Bachelor was more about building friendships than it was about finding love! Former contestant Amanda Stanton quickly befriended the Ferguson twins while competing on The Bachelor and have continued their on-air friendship during season 3 of Bachelor in Paradise. A quick glance at their social media accounts proves these three are still amigos!

12. Ashley Iaconetti and Ben Higgins

Ashley Iaconetti and Ben Higgins never appeared on The Bachelor together, but somehow their paths have crossed and they now do a podcast together! After getting a taste of reality TV as the Bachelor, Higgins began hosting a podcast with fellow Bachelor star, former contestant Ashley Iaconetti. The two co-host Ben and Ashley: Almost Famous and not surprisingly have become really close!

11. Andi Dorfman and Kelly Travisty

Andi Dorfman and Kelly Travisty also met on Juan Pablo’s season of The Bachelor. Following Andi’s breakup with Josh, she moved in with Kelly and she only moved out when she headed to New York City to start her life over again. The distance hasn’t affected their friendship – Kelly came to New York City to celebrate Andi’s 30th birthday with her!

10. JoJo Fletcher and Becca Tilley

Okay, these two have the cutest friendship ever. Anyone who follows these two on social media knows just how close they are and how much fun they have. Despite living far apart from each other, they are constantly cracking each other up and having a good time. Becca even plays third wheel to JoJo and her Bachelorette beau Jordan Rodgers! A bestie who can hang out and have a good time with your partner is the ultimate BFF. Since they are both social media stars, they recently teamed up with Dermalogica to create a Healthy Skin Besties Kit…is there anything these two don’t do together?

9. Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon

Ashley Iaconetti was really into Jared Haibon during season two and three of Bachelor in Paradise and, while things didn’t really work out romantically between the two, they are still really good friends! “Even in Paradise, we had such a good friendship. That was the most difficult part, was hurting somebody that I really care for…I knew we were going to be friends outside of Paradise, and we have become such close friends. I am very grateful for Ashley I. being in my life,” Hared told People.

8. Andi Dorfman and Sharleen Joynt

We’re pretty sure these two did some serious bonding over their mutual hate for Juan Pablo. After her time on The Bachelor, Andi went on to star on The Bachelorette, but when her engagement to Josh Murray fell through, she jetted off to New York City and reignited her friendship with Sharleen Joynt. These two can now be spotted hanging out on a regular basis!

7. Rachel Lindsay and Astrid Loch

Rachel Lindsay was the most recent Bachelorette after competing on Nick Viall’s season of The Bachelor. While on the show, she met fellow contestant Astrid Loch. While their friendship might not have been all that evident on camera, it’s definitely clear through their social media! Their friendship seems to have only gotten stronger ever since the show ended. Lindsay posted a photo of Loch on her Instagram with the hashtags, “#realfriends” and “#friendsforlife,” letting us know these two are real-life besties!

6. Whitney Bischoff and Kaitlyn Bristowe

These two should hate each other considering they both made it to the final three on Chris Soules season of The Bachelorette, and because Soules choose Bischoff over Bristowe. Luckily, it ended up being the best thing to ever happen to Bristowe as she went on to star as the next Bachelorette and met her fiance Shawn Booth. While Bischoff got engaged to Soules at the end of his season, their relationship didn’t last. She has since moved on and recently got married. Guess who celebrated with her at her bachelorette party? None other than Kaitlyn Bristowe! Although these two live in separate states, they still frequently visit one another.

5. Andi Dorfman and Nikki Ferrell

Andi Dorfman and Nikki Ferrell met on the set of Juan Pablo’s season of The Bachelor. Even though Nikki won Juan Pablo’s heart that season, their relationship quickly fizzled, but her friendship with Andi didn’t! These two have remained good friends and Andi was even one of Nikki’s bridesmaids at her wedding to Tyler VanLoo!

4. Tia Booth and Raven Gates

Tia Booth and Raven Gates may have competed on different seasons of The Bachelor (Tia competed for Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s while Raven competed for Nick’s), but they go way back! Although it is unclear how these two met, they both hail from Arkansas; Raven is from Hoxie and Tia is from Weiner. When Tia joined Arie’s season of The Bachelor, Raven used Instagram to introduce her good friend: “I finally get to announce that I’m handing over my Bachelor baton to my BFF @tiarachel91 || my only advice: Just always remember you’re not as bad as what your worst critic says you are and you’re not as great as what your biggest fan says you are. Find the balance, enjoy the ride. I’m always in your corner!”

3. Samantha Steffen and Amber James

Even though Samantha Steffen liked to stir the pot on Bachelor in Paradise, she managed to make a friend from the show! She is now good friends with fellow Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise contestant Amber James. It seems these two have grown quite close because, in a picture posted on Instagram, Amber wrote: “Unexpected friendships are the best ones. This year has been crazy and 2016 I’m sure will be even better. I can’t imagine not having @samanthasteffen in my life along with many other girls I have met from The Bachelor.”

2. Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jillian Harris

Nothing brings you closer than Canadian pride! Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jillian Harris are Bachelor nations only two Canadian bachelorettes and they also just happen to be close friends! Anyone who follows Jillian Harris on Instagram knows how much she loves to document her day-to-day life to her fans and to our joy, Kaitlyn Bristowe sometimes makes a guest appearance every now and again! From wineries to baby showers, these two have kept in touch ever since they both joined Bachelor nation.

1. Desiree Hartsock and Renee Oteri

Former Bachelorette Desiree Hartsock didn’t find love when she was a contestant on The Bachelor, but she did make a new best friend! Both ladies were in competition for Sean Lowe’s final rose, but it seemed instead of falling for the guy, they fell for each other! It’s been years since they appeared on TV together and now they’ve gone on to attend each other’s weddings (Desiree was a witness at Renee’s wedding), throw baby showers for one another, go on double dates and have babies at the same time — who will no doubt be future besties!
