End of the year lists often praise the best of the best after a year of hard work, however some are not so flattering and one actor in particular has now topped one of the not-so-great lists for the second year running.
Forbes magazine released their list of the most overpaid actors and came up with the results by looking at the “last three movies of the biggest stars in Hollywood and calculated what they were paid and what the movies earned” in return.
Unfortunately for comedian Adam Sandler he has the unfortunate honor of being labeled with the title of getting too much buck for his bang for the second time.
Forbes determined that while Sandler had success with Grown Ups 2, it just wasn’t enough to make up for the losses that occurred with Jack and Jill and That’s My Boy.
At number two surprisingly is Johnny Depp, while the actor can play any role ever given to him, unfortunately the flops of The Lone Ranger and Dark Shadows was enough to put him high on the list.
The rest of the list rounds out actors that just seem to be very inconsistent in their careers, creating mega hits and then some of the most criticized films such as Ben Stiller at number three and Ryan Reynolds at number four.
The back end of the list includes Tom Hanks, Will Ferrell, Channing Tatum, Denzel Washington, Sandra Bullock and Ben Affleck.
