In Hollywood it is no secret that many stars undergo procedures and injections in order to defy aging, but there are some that are renowned for their natural beauty and one of those stars has always been actress Uma Thurman.
At 44 years old, she never seems to age a day but at her latest red carpet event for her new miniseries The Slap on Monday February 9 in New York City, there was something noticeably different with Thurman’s face.
While she is used to turning heads on her outings, this time it was more due to the fact she was nearly unrecognizable with her red carpet look that included minimal eye make-up, an all black ensemble and straight hair.
Although her look could be shocking because many are used to seeing her with bangs and very defined eyes, many are also focusing on her unbelievably line-free forehead, puffy cheeks and very tight smile, leading to the belief the “natural beauty” recently had work done.
A cosmetic surgery director, Mark Norfolk, who has not worked on Thurman offered his opinion on her altered look to the U.K’s Daily Mail.
“Uma certainly looks like she’s undergone a dramatic transformation and in my opinion, she’s looking too overdone. The thing that strikes me most is that her eye area looks very different. It looks as though she’s had a recent lower blepharoplasty treatment, also known as eye bag removal. She isn’t wearing any eyeliner or mascara, probably in order to avoid infection from the new surgery.”
