Matt Baier has taken the high road after videos surfaced of Amber Portwood showing major PDA with another man.
The Teen Mom OG stars have an on-and-off relationship documented on the reality series, but were allegedly officially broken up as of late June. Portwood revealed in an interview with Dr. Drew that they were not living together anymore but that they were still talking because “love doesn’t just shut off like that.”
It appears, however, that Amber Portwood has moved on quite quickly as a video surfaced of her getting close to and kissing an unidentified man. Despite Baier’s controversial past, he’s taken the high road and expressed that he only wishes the best for Portwood. “All I ever wanted for Amber is for her to be happy and safe,” Matt told E! News. “We spent three years building a life together and they were the three happiest years of my life. I wouldn’t trade them for anything.” He also added, “Amber knows if she ever needs me I’m just a phone call away.”
Portwood has yet to release a comment about the leaked video or revealed the identity of the man, but sources have said she has filmed Teen Mom scenes with him. Baier and Portwood reportedly attempted to salvage their relationship on Marriage Bootcamp, but ultimately decided it was best for both of them to break things off and move on.
