A feud between Teen Mom 2 stars Kailyn Lowry and Jenelle Evans has been brewing for years, but over the weekend things took a scary turn when Jenelle and her mom Barbara joked about killing Lowry.

On Saturday, January 19, Jenelle and Barbara went on Instagram Live with Brittany DeJesus, the sister of fellow star Briana DeJesus, and Jenelle appeared to be drunk and her slurring her words as they were all chatting before Barbara said, “we should all get lit and we’ll go kill Kail.” They laughed before Jenelle told her mom, “Oh, my god, we’re on live, Mom. You can’t say that s—t.”

A Teen Mom producer then called in because of the concerning nature of the video. Jenelle posted another video of a producer telling Barbara off for what she said as Jenelle added, “They think we’re gonna hurt Kail.” She then added sarcastically, “I’m so sorry, Kail, I didn’t mean to do that. I’m not gonna hurt you.”

“Everybody took it out of perspective,” Barbara said after ending the call with the producer, insisting she’s always gotten along with Lowry. “That’s not really what I meant. I was just doing a joke.”

After the videos were posted, Kailyn was tipped off by Teen Mom 2 fans and she took to her Twitter to say, “I heard Barb wants to kill me,” and added, “Are drunk words sober thoughts?”

Although Lowry, who is mom to sons Isaac, Lincoln, and Lux, didn’t comment further on social media, she did reportedly tell In Touch that she will not be filming for the time being. “I want no association with any person or network that works with that family,” she told In Touch, adding that she “won’t be filming until further notice.”

“I guess the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree,” she added. “I have three kids to live for, just like Barbara herself. I’m disgusted it came from her.”

Barb’s comments come after Lowry attempted to send a “peace offering” to Jenelle by sending her products from her new hair care line. In response Jenelle lit the products on fire and posted the video to Instagram.
