Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans shared photos on Sunday, September 24 of her outdoor wedding ceremony to David Eason.
The couple became official at their home in North Carolina on Saturday, September 23 and the MTV star described the evening as having a “rustic Southern theme.”
She took to Instagram and shared a photo of her and her new husband walking down the aisle. “Yesterday was magical,” she captioned the photo. Her sons 7-year old Jace 3-year old Kaiser were also spotted holding hands in the background of the photo.
Evans posted an additional photo of Kaiser barefoot in formal attire walking down the aisle and serving as ring bearer at the ceremony. “My bubba did such a great job!” she captioned the photo of her son. “He carried our rings to us very safely!”
She posted a third photo of her son Jace, with whom she’s been involved in an ongoing custody battle with her mother, and wrote the heartfelt caption, “I was extremely honored to be walked down the aisle by this little man. He was happy for us, that’s all that mattered for my big day. None of my family attended my wedding and I do not care, this boy is who mattered in the end. Jace did a great job and was super excited for the wedding to start!”
Barbara Evans’ absence at the ceremony doesn’t come as much of a surprise due to their ongoing struggles and Jenelle previously revealed her mother would not be attending. Jenelle signed over custody of Jace to her mother in 2010 but they continued to argue over visitation rights. In May, the mother-daughter duo finally came to a mutual agreement. Evans didn’t receive the full custody she had hoped for but she was granted more visitation time with her son.
