Selena Gomez was definitely a busy lady this past week with her latest attendance at the American Music Awards on Sunday night and then jet-setting to New York to attend a Lupus Research Alliance gala.
The gala moment was another huge debut for her recently dyed blonde tresses, which she showed off with a canary yellow floor-length gown. During the gala, Selena did a speech about her experience with Lupus. “After undergoing so many tests to monitor my kidneys, my doctors told me I had Lupus and arthritis, one of the most common complications of Lupus,” she said.
Considering the formality of the event and the elegance of her Calvin Klein gown, the shearling jean jacket came as quite the surprise! Typically stars opt for a more formal wool coat or leather jacket while attending a gala, but Selena had no shame to dress down her look and top it off with denim. She did, however, remove the jacket before entering the gala and allowed the dress and her blonde locks to truly shine!
