Rumor has it that Selena Gomez has a new man in her life: 17 year-old pop star Austin Mahone.
Selena, 21, met Austin through Taylor Swift, since Austin has been Taylor’s opening act on tour. That’s a fairly big age difference for such young starlets, but Selena and Austin have were spotted getting into a car together last week after sneaking out of a concert separately. Why the secrets?!

Austin and Selena have known each other for a while; last summer, they were seeing hanging out together at Disneyland, just as friends.
Perhaps they’re still just friends. Although Us Weekly says they’re dating, this week Austin told People magazine,”We’re just friends. She’s really cool. I mean, I think she’s really pretty but every time I’m in L.A., she’s like ‘Hey you’re in L.A., lets hang out.”
Well, that certainly makes it sound like Selena is interested. Maybe Austin just needs to make a move if the feelings are mutual?
Meanwhile, a source close who claims to know both Austin and Selena said, “Maybe they are more than just friends but they are certainly not dating.”
