Scott Patterson From Gilmore Girls Is Releasing His Own Brand Of Luke’s Coffee

Through the seven year run of the hit drama Gilmore Girls, fans watched in awe at Lorelei and Rory’s astonishing caffeine tolerance.

The duo made it a ritual in every episode to grab a cup (or two!) from Luke’s infamous dinner and now 58-year old star Scott Patterson has decided to turn this coffee brewing talent into a real life business!

“I’m developing my own coffee brand,” Patterson told Wealth Management. “We’re almost ready to launch, but we want to have our ducks in a row before we come out with it.” Despite Luke’s constant nagging of the Gilmore Girls to lay off the coffee, Patterson revealed that in real life he’s a coffee lover as well! “Quality coffee is something that I am obsessed with. It’s the thing I look forward to every morning and throughout the day and throughout the evening and now throughout the middle of the night,” he said. “It’s going to be called Scotty P’s Big Mug Coffee.”

Leading up to the Gilmore Girls revival premiere, 200 coffee shops popped up as replicas of Luke’s Diner and fans got to experience a real-life take on the world of Gilmore Girls. Fans flocked to these mimic Diners all over the country and the response was extremely positive.

Here’s to hoping that Patterson’s coffee brand is as successful off screen as it was with the Gilmore Girls in Stars Hollow!
