Just last month, singer Michael Buble and his wife Luisana Lopilato revealed that their oldest son, Noah, had been diagnosed with cancer in an emotional Facebook post.

While the couple have been very private about their son’s battle, reports are now indicating that Noah is suffering from liver cancer and will be undergoing surgery. The report from The Daily Mail state that the 3-year-old is currently undergoing chemotherapy in order to shrink a tumor and that once the chemotherapy is over the tumor should be small enough for doctors to perform surgery to remove the cancer, hopefully by the end of December.

“We are devastated about the recent cancer diagnosis of our oldest son, Noah, who is currently undergoing treatment in the U.S.,” the pair wrote in a statement November 4, via the Canadian singer’s Facebook page. “We have always been very vocal about the importance of family and the love we have for our children.”

“Luisana and I have put our careers on hold in order to devote all our time and attention to helping Noah get well,” the statement continued. “At this difficult time, we ask only for your prayers and respect for our privacy. We have a long journey in front of us and hope that with the support of family, friends and fans around the world, we will win this battle, God willing.”
