Khloe Kardashian is on the mend after contracting a staph infection, updating her fans on her condition on Tuesday, Nov. 24. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star let everyone know she has come a long way, writing, “I’m so blessed I’m doing better and my infection is healing. I was able to be out and about today… Quarantine is over lol.”

The 31-year-old revealed she had the sometimes very serious illness when she was forced to cancel book signings for her new book Strong Looks Better Naked, stating, “I’m sick & dr’s orders are that I need to lay low until we narrow down what’s wrong.” After the diagnosis, sources then revealed that Kardashian contracted the infection while she was vigilant at the bedside of her estranged husband Lamar Odom at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center following his very serious overdose in October.

While Khloe has been quarantined, she has been unable to visit Odom, or attend any events, but her family has been updating everyone on her condition with her mom Kris Jenner, stating, “She’s getting better day by day […] we’re hoping that she gets better in the next few days before Thanksgiving since she’s cooking Thanksgiving.” Khloe also offered her own updates while undergoing treatment, writing on social media, “Staph infection is no joke. Mine was exacerbated by stress which is not a great combo. I’m under great medical care & receiving tons of love!”
