Alex Rodriguez’s two daughters don’t have to idolize their favorite celebrity Jennifer Lopez from afar — she just happens to be their father’s girlfriend!
Rodriguez’s daughters, Natasha, 12, and Ella, 9, look up to Jennifer for her talent and hope to have similar careers one day. “Their role model is Jen and how diverse she is in terms of the arts and her career,” Rodriguez, a former Yankees player, explained. “For them to be around their role model is so cool.”
“Both Natasha and Ella love to sing, they love the arts and all the production around it. So for them it’s a huge thrill to be around one of the world’s greatest talents,” he shared with Us Weekly.
Lopez has shared her guidance on social media and Rodriguez recently posted a video of herself with Ella to help her sing Alessia Cara’s “Scars to Your Beautiful.” He added the caption, “Coach JL.”
Despite Ella’s talent, Rodriquez shared that she is still nervous about singing in public, especially in front of her father’s large Twitter following of almost one million. “She didn’t talk to me for a whole day because I posted that,” he shared candidly. “But I reminded her she gave me the green light!”
Rodriguez also shared that he and his daughters love to watch Lopez perform at her “All I Have” show in Las Vegas. “The show is amazing, the best I’ve seen, two hours of intense performance, the production the dancing, the singing,” he explained. “It never gets old to me.” From the sounds of it, Rodriguez is just as much a fan of Lopez as his daughters!
