Alex Borstein, the voice behind the animated character on the hit adult animated sitcom, Family Guy, received news that her own husband isn’t so much of a family guy anymore.

Alex Borstein and husband Jackson Douglas who you might recognize from Gilmore Girls as Jackson Belleville have been married for sixteen years but he is now filing for divorce.

Unfortunately for Borstein, her millions from Family Guy didn’t come until after their marriage, meaning there was probably no prenup when they married and Douglas could be looking at half of Borstein’s earnings.

Even half is guaranteed to be a lot as Borstein makes something in the area of $3 million to $5 million per season of Family Guy, seems like a decent job considering lending her voice to Lois only takes a few hours every month.

As well as half the money, Douglas is asking for spousal support and joint custody of the couple’s two children, Barnaby, 6, and Henrietta, 2.

Borstein and Douglas met while she was studying at the ACME Comedy Theatre and Douglas actually proposed while taping a MADtv skit and they were consequently married in 1999.

Luckily for Borstein her career is still going strong so she will probably be just fine, even if Douglas succeeds in getting half her earnings in the split.
