Cara Delevingne Lands First Starring Role In Paper Towns

It seems taking the model world by storm isn’t enough for 22-year old British model Cara Delevingne as she is now showing she can be a leading lady on the big screen in the upcoming Paper Towns.

In the trailer for the film adaptation of the John Green novel, who also wrote The Fault in Our Stars, Delevingne stars as popular, adventurous high school student Margo Roth Spiegelman who is loved from afar by her lifetime neighbour Quentin “Q” Jacobsen played by Nat Wolff who played Isaac in The Fault in Our Stars.

“The way I figure it, everyone gets a miracle. My miracle was, I wound up living across the street from Margo Roth Spiegelman. She was inarguably the most gorgeous creature that god had ever created. Margo’s life was a series of unbelievably epic adventures,” Wolff narrates the beginning of the clip.

Naturally, Q finally gets his chance with Margo when she enlists him to get back at her cheating ex boyfriend with a series of pranks, but the next day she disappears and Q goes on a mission to find her.

Delevingne had her acting debut in 2012’s Anna Karenina but has more films lined up including Tulip Fever, Pan and the super-villain film Suicide Squad.

“I prefer acting to modeling. Modeling is where I started and I’ll never turn my back on it, I thank it for everything I’ve done now. Without that I wouldn’t be here now, but it’s not my love, acting is my love,” she told The Mirror.
