Before her untimely end this week, L’Wren Scott was a celebrated fashion designer who was known for designing dresses that were beautiful, close fitting and stylish. 9. Madonna – London Film Festival (2011)

Some of the best dresses Madonna wore to events were designed by L’Wren Scott. She wore this signature L’Wren Scott fitted black dress with hot pink leaf details embroidered from the soulder to the hemline to the premiere of “W.E.” at the London Film Festival.

8. Shailene Woodley – Screen Actor Guild Awards (2012)

Shailene Woodley wore this silvery-blue sequined dress with red and white scattered flowers from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by L’Wren Scott to the Screen Actor Guild Awards in 2012. Nicole Kidman looked enchanting in this blue, red and black leaf print L’Wren Scott gown that she wore to the screening for “Inside Llewyn Davis” at the Cannes Film Festival. L’Wren Scott was one of “The Hours” star’s favorite designers. “She knows what aspects to accentuate in a woman, and is able to make you feel incredibly sexy and sophisticated when you are in one of her exquisite designs,” Kidman told the Telegraph.

Christina Hendricks wore this burgundy L’Wren Scott dress with white feather broaches to the DGA Awards.
