Yes, Kendall Jenner is contractually obliged to stay in the mix of KUWTK for the current season, but beyond that, she’s not certain about her future with the family effort in the world of entertainment. It was not many days ago that Kendall made cause for pause when she declared herself the most popular person on the series. Whether she believes that or not, it could be a negotiation play for more coin, or she could really just be sick of the show and its spin-offs.
Ultimately, Kendall is wrong when it comes to the popularity contest, and surely she knows that. Nobody compares with sister Kim. No Kim = No Show. Kendall leaves, they’ll continue on. That said, it’s also looking like Kendall has become popular enough that she no longer needs the Kardashian training wheels. She has her own following, and a blossoming modeling career.
There also has to be some torn allegiance when she considers her family dynamic. Her dad, Bruce Jenner, is done with the show, and her brother Rob, has also dropped out of the mix. Rob has been very vocal about his displeasure with the show’s long lasting effect on their family dynamic.
It seems Kendall fans could be enjoying their last good look at the 18 year old on KUWTK. And if she decides to go her own way, good for her.
