It wasn’t just a one-night fling.
Country singer Jason Aldean is now dating Brittany Kerr, the woman he cheated on his wife with.
Brittany, a former American Idol contestant from season 11 and a professional dancer for the Charlotte Bobcats, was first spotted backstage at Jason’s March 14 concert at The Amphitheater at The Wharf in Orange Beach, Alabama. Now, a rep for Jason, 37, has confirmed that the two are dating. Check out the video for pictures of the couple!
Back in 2012, Jason was seen kissing Brittany in a bar in Los Angeles when he was still married to his wife Jessica Ussery (Jason filed for divorce in April, citing irreconcilable differences). Afterward, he offered up a public apology on Facebook: “The truth is that I screwed up,” he wrote. “I had too much to drink, let the party get out of hand and acted inappropriately at a bar. I ultimately ended up embarrassing my family and myself. I’m not perfect, and I’m sorry for disappointing you guys.”
Brittany also issued a public apology at the time, calling it a “lapse in judgment”.
Jason and his ex-wife met at school in Georgia and married before he became famous. They have two daughters together.
