ABC

The beloved late night talk show host and comedian, Jimmy Kimmel is the king of pranks. He’s known for challenging his viewers to participate in prank wars among their friends, family and even their own children! The results are hilarious and we love tuning into them, especially around the holidays when he showcases his annual themed pranks. Kimmel has garnered a lot of laughs with his jokes over the years, and there’s plenty to choose from when it comes to the epic pranks that we’ve seen go down on his show, but here’s a list of his 10 best!

10. Hey Jimmy Kimmel, I Silverstoned My Kid

Jimmy Kimmel loves to pull fast ones over children, probably because they are the easiest to prank! This joke was inspired by Alicia Silverstone, who posted a video on her social media mouth feeding her child. Gross. In return, Kimmel asked parents to serve their children a plate of chewed food to see how they like it, then record their reactions and upload the videos to YouTube. The results are disgustingly hilarious. Warning: may cause viewers to lose their appetite. These kids are not pleased and some are even a little ticked off!

9. Hey Jimmy Kimmel, I Unplugged the TV During the Super Bowl

This prank targeted football fans across America, and it was during an especially important game…the Superbowl. As most of us would already know, you never mess with a fan’s viewing experience during any game, not to mention the biggest game of the year! But, Jimmy Kimmel knows no boundaries and he challenged families to once again turn against each other. He asked them to risk it all and unplug television sets during an important moment of the Superbowl and record their family members reactions. The product? A lot of obscenities and very angry dads!

8. Lie Witness News Coachella 2013

Coachella is one of the biggest music festivals in North America and thus is the perfect target for one of Kimmel’s ultimate pranks. This pranks dates back to 2013, but still stands the test of time. Jimmy Kimmel decided to expose these music fans’ knowledge, or rather lack there of, when it comes to music and bands. Avid music fans generally want to be the first ones to discover a band, so Kimmel decided to question concert goers with fake band names. The end result was painfully hilarious as these Coachella fans admitted to knowing and even listening to bands that virtually do not exist.

7. I Did Nothing to the Coffee

April Fools is always a special day on Jimmy Kimmel Live! One of Jimmy Kimmel’s best April Fools pranks for his viewers was probably the by far the simplest prank, but the a classic because it always works. Jimmy Kimmel asked viewers to give their loved ones a cup of coffee in the morning and insinuate with a ‘Happy April Fools day’ comment that they did something to their morning cup of Joe when really, they did nothing at all. People truly value their morning coffee, so this prank tests the trust of many as some people wildly freak out over what might be in their coffee. This prank just never gets old!

6. Epic #SociFail: Wolf in My Hall Prank

Jimmy Kimmel loves to troll the media and for being a trusted source of news on a daily basis, sometimes some of these media outlets are just way too gullible and have been a victim of Kimmel’s pranks more than once! Remember the Sochi Olympics? Right before the Olympics a video went viral of a supposed Russian wolf wandering the hallways where the Olympians were staying. The Internet blew up over it! His co-conspirator was US Olympian Kate Hansen who allowed Kimmel’s team to take control of her Twitter account and post the video. When Jimmy Kimmel released the full story on his show it was hilarious and proved to be the ultimate prank because we all fell for it!

5. Emily Blunt and John Krasinski Holiday Prank with Jimmy Kimmel

Jimmy Kimmel and his wife have a long standing prank war going with their neighbors, John Krasinski and Emily Blunt. These pranks have been going on for the past four years and are the product of a continuous retaliation. These couples have met their match when it comes to pranks and it all happens to go down during the most festive time of the year…Christmas! This video shows a timeline of some of the best jokes that have going above and beyond in terms of effort. If there’s one thing we’ve learned  from this, it’s that John and Emily can hold their own in this ongoing prank war against the ultimate prankster Jimmy Kimmel! Now that’s impressive!

4. The Latest Holiday Prank Between Kimmel and Krasinski

During this past holiday season, Jimmy Kimmel invited his arch holiday enemy, John Krasinski onto his show and shared with viewers the latest of their annual pranks. The pranksters are supposed to take turns each year, but this past Christmas John Krasinski decided to take it upon himself to prank Kimmel for the second year in a row, even though it was Kimmel’s turn to pull the pranks. Jimmy Kimmel shared a video with his viewers of the hilarious pranks John pulled on him, but Kimmel finished it off by teaching John the ultimate prank lesson by ‘nogging’ him in the middle of his live show.

3. Rihanna Pranks Jimmy Kimmel

In this prank, the tables are turned…against Jimmy! Rihanna works together with Jimmy Kimmel’s wife to wake him up in the middle of the night so she can perform her latest hit song, “B-tch Better Have my Money” in his bedroom. Jimmy is basically speechless throughout the entire thing, probably because he’s busy trying to piece together what is happening. His state of confusion makes this prank by far one of the best pranks on the show. Plus, it’s good to see the prankster on the other end of things for once!

2. I Told My Kids I Ate All Their Halloween Candy

Jimmy Kimmel has been using children’s beloved holidays against them for quite some time now. He’s been doing his annual Halloween Cany YouTube challenge for five years now and it’s by definitely a fan favorite. The pranks challenges parents to tell their children that they ate all of their Halloween candy and then film their reactions. These videos show a lot of disappointed kids, a lot of tears and despair and even anger. Oh the dramatics! These poor kids are the funniest to prank for the ultimate reaction.

1. I Gave My Kids a Terrible Present

Once again, Jimmy Kimmel targets children by asking viewers to give their children terrible gifts for Christmas and record their reactions. These kids are thoroughly unimpressed and open up gifts that are not exactly what they were expecting…Jimmy Kimmel can always rely on kids to give the best reactions to his pranks. This isn’t exactly the picture perfect typical Christmas morning joy!
