It might actually come down to simple genetics. Generally speaking, beautiful people give birth to other beautiful people. (There are a few cases where this isn’t true, we aren’t going to be focusing on that in this article.) Adoring fans often idolize celebrities because they wish they had their looks, talent, personality or wealth, but in this case, older generations likely wish they had generational legacies that made them look even better in old age. Based on pure speculation, as well as subjective opinion of the masses, here are 8 celebrities (celebrity couples/used-to-be couples) who are/were hot and who have even hotter children.
8. Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson
In the 1980s, Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson were as hot as a couple could get. She was the Working Girl, he was the coolest Miami Vice cop on the planet, and together they did the hibbity-jibbity, leading to a daughter named Dakota. Dakota Johnson, as all are aware, was the star of the somewhat controversial — but more sex-novelty — film, 50 Shades of Grey. A perfect choice for such a story line, Dakota does come across as demure and proper, but there’s no doubt this girl can throw a heavyweight punch. It’ll be interesting to see what Dakota does over the next five years in determining how hot she truly is. She’s got the potential of both parents combined.
