General Hospital News Round-Up For The Week (May 16, 2022)

The holidays are all but a distant memory now as residents of Port Charles have put away the trees, decorations, and wrapping and are ready to dive into some drama this week! Sam asks for a divorce, Josslyn and Oscar have a lover’s spat, and new BFFs emerge. Learn about these stories and more in the General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of January 8.

5. Teen Drama

Josslyn and Oscar will have a fight this week that will send the teen looking for daddy Drew. The situation will help the father and son to bond as Drew offers Oscar some fatherly advice. Drew will have love drama of his own this week as his world is flipped upside down (again). It seems Sam and Jason are still (technically) married, which means Drew and Sam can’t get married just yet.

4. Sam Asks Jason For A Divorce

Jason suffers a blow this week when Sam asks him for a divorce. It’ll be painful for him to hear, but he’ll man up and cooperate the best he can to help push this through. Alexis will try to speed the process up, but she will run into some issues along the way. When all is said and done, JaSam will remain married (under the law) for a bit longer.

3. Nelle Makes A Choice

Nelle decides on something big this week that Michael does not approve of. GH spoilers indicate that Michael won’t like her position at Ava’s gallery and he’ll try and convince her to quit. He’ll even cave in on her allowance request, but Nelle will see the benefits of aligning herself with Ava and she won’t give up on this.

2. Looking For Faison

Peter continues to monitor Lulu, and will most likely face some accusations in the near future. Lulu will try and do all she can to find Faison’s whereabouts. Meanwhile, Maxie has a terrible dream about Nathan and their baby being in trouble. GH spoilers say Anna conjures up a theory and finds some evidence to prove it. Could it be about the traitor who also happens to be the son of Faison? You’ll have to tune in to find out!

1. New BFF Alert

Port Charles newbie, Kim, finds a friend she can trust this week. GH spoilers tease it just might be Alexis. Things could get sticky between these up-and-coming BFFs as it seems all arrows point to Kim’s new love interest being Julian. It will be interesting to see how their friendship holds up if and when Julian and Kim hook up.
