Days Of Our Lives News Round-Up For The Week (March 7, 2022)

Calling all Days of Our Lives (DOOL) fans! While the sad news is that the weekend is over … the good news is, we have a brand new week to dive into in Salem. Learn more about Hope’s rage, Jenn’s sadness, Chad’s confusion, Maggie’s recovery and Laura Horton’s return in the below Days‘ spoilers for the week of August 29th.

5. Hope Makes A Drastic Decision

Hope is quite upset over the fact that Aiden has managed to move into Justin’s district attorney position in Salem. She heads over the station this week and rips into him. Aiden fluffs her off and this only infuriates Hope that much more. She gets so mad at Aiden, she gives up her job in Salem’s PD. Thankfully Roman and Rafe are able to sway her back to the force. Hope is quite upset with Aiden as he now holds a significant amount of power with his DA role. Spoilers indicate that DOOL audiences can expect more run-ins between these two in the near future.

4. Kate’s B&B?

Kate has been kicked out of the Kiriakis mansion and is now homeless, so she’ll spend this week looking for some new digs. She’ll make a major purchase and snag the Martin home from Julie and Doug. But let’s face it, Kate really isn’t the ‘B&B’ type. It won’t take long for her to kick out the guests and turn it into something much more ‘her style.’

3. Maggie’s Recovery

The good news this week is that Maggie is recovering nicely (and quickly!) While she will be quite excited about how well she is progressing, she will also continue to worry about Victor. Thankfully the Greek tycoon will be released from jail on bail. While seeing Maggie and catching up with her will be a good thing, Victor will have plenty of explaining to do when it comes to the entire jail ordeal and the kidnapping of his great-grandson Tate.

2. Laura Horton Returns!

As the Hortons gather to support Jennifer and remember Abigail this week, DOOL fans will get treated to a visit from Jenn’s mom Laura. Others who will help Jenn and be there to mourn Abby, include: Lucas, Adrienne, as well as Doug and Julie. While they are all upset about losing a young family member, they will also try and look to the future.

Days Of Our Lives Character Returns That Totally Underwhelmed Fans

1. Chad Mourns

As the Hortons gather, Chad is on the other side of Salem wondering where it all went wrong. He goes into a chapel and tries to talk to Abigail (her spirit). He’s looking for something or anything to help him get through losing the love of his life and the mother of his child. The good news is Abigail isn’t really dead and actress Marci Miller has been recast into the role. Expect an ‘Abigail’ return shortly.
