2014 has been an eventful year for Hollywood’s most elite. So much has happened and we’re sure there’s still more to come! Since the year is finally coming to a close, we figured now would be a good time to go through some of this year’s biggest headline-grabbing scandals. From rape allegations to taped molestation confessions to some good old-fashioned (and unnecessary) nudity, 2014 has seemed way more dramatic than any other year in recent memory. We have pulled together the top 10 biggest scandals of 2014 for your enjoyment. Some of these might still be fresh in your member, but we’re sure some of them have long been forgotten.

10. Kim Kardashian Breaks The Internet

Kim Kardashian broke the Internet a few weeks ago when she went completely nude for the winter edition of Paper magazine. Around that same time, a probe had landed on a comet for the first time ever. In spite of this, the reality TV star’s photos ended up being a hotter trending topic. They caused quite the stir. It turns out that she didn’t actually get paid for the shoot; however, that doesn’t seem to matter. She was probably after only the publicity anyway.

Everyone in Hollywood seemed pretty divided over the scandalous photo spread. Some couldn’t believe how tacky the shots were while others praised her for her amazing post-baby bod. One thing that most people couldn’t deny was that the pictures look really photoshopped. Kim isn’t Barbie. She doesn’t have a waist that tiny, so the only conclusion that we arrived at is that her body was obviously manipulated in the photos.

9. Teresa and Joe Giudice’s Prison Sentence

Despite pleading guilty to all charges, Teresa and Joe Giudice were sentenced to jail for mail, wire and bankruptcy fraud this year. She will spend 15 months in prison while he will serve 41 months. “For a moment I thought about probation…but I think a period of confinement is absolutely necessary in this case,” the judge told Teresa. “I don’t honestly believe that you understand or respect the law. I need to send a message. In the eyes of the law, it doesn’t matter who you are. There are consequences to pay.”

Teresa must surrender for her sentence on January 15, 2015. Once she has completed her sentence, Joe will serve his. “I am not sure you respect this court or our laws, and I’m not sure you understand what you’ve done,” the judge told Joe. “I want you home with your girls. You’re a great dad.” It is still unknown whether he will be deported following his sentence but, let’s hope for his family’s sake, that he gets to stay here.

8. Willow Smith in Bed with an Older Man

This past May, photos surfaced on Twitter of 13-year-old Willow Smith in bed with a 20-year-old actor by the name of Moises Arias, who is best known for his role on “Hannah Montana.” He was shirtless in the picture, which made it even creepier. Many people were left wondering how much supervision Willow gets at home and if her parents are really okay with her cavorting with older men.

The picture was immediately taken down by Arias; however, the damage was already done. The Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) opened an investigation into the incident. Although they found no evidence that Willow had ever been in danger and no actions were taken against Will and Jada, DCFS was advised to keep a close watch on their children’s social media accounts in the future. Neither parent really commented on the investigation; however, Jada initially brushed the entire thing off: “Here’s the deal: There was nothing sexual about that picture or that situation. You guys are projecting your trash onto it and you’re acting like covert pedophiles, and that’s not cool,” she said.

7. Solange Knowles Attacks Jay Z

Solange Knowles had pretty much faded into oblivion until a video surfaced of her attacking Jay Z in an elevator at the Met Gala this past spring. No one really knows what sparked this act of violence. The video has no sound. All we really know for sure is that something must have really upset Solange – or it was all staged to get her some much-needed publicity.

In an interview this past summer, Matthew Knowles claimed that his daughters’ employ Jedi mind tricks to create buzz when they have an album coming out or if they are on the brink of a tour. Rumors claim that Solange used it with the elevator incident and Beyonce and Jay Z reportedly did the same thing with rumors about their alleged marital problems. “The Jedi mind trick fools you a lot of times. So things you see sometimes are [makes poof noise],” he said. “Everyone’s talking about it. Ticket sales went up. Solange’s album sales went up 200%.”

6. Sarah Hyland Restraining Order

Sarah Hyland shocked everyone this past September when she suddenly obtained a temporary restraining order against her ex Matthew Prokop. These two had been dating for about a five years before they broke up this past summer. Sources at the time had said that it had been a clean break; however, it was anything but. It turns out their relationship had become quite toxic because of him.

Hyland has since been granted a three-year restraining order and more details about her dysfunctional relationship with Prokop have come out. It turns out that he was jealous of her success. He was also an actor, but his career hadn’t taken off the way hers had. His biggest role was as a guest star on “Modern Family.” He was quite possessive and didn’t want her going out with friends. He was also physically abusive. He had choked her at one point, which left her with a really sore throat. At the end, Hyland feared for her life.

5. Celebrity Nude Photo Hack

This past Labor Day weekend, someone hacked iCloud and swiped a bunch of nude celebrity photos and posted them on imageboard 4chan. Soon after, they were disseminated to sites like Imgur, Reddit and Tumblr. Some of the celebrities who were targeted in this attack include Jennifer Lawrence, Ariana Grande, Kirsten Dunst, Kaley Cuoco, Victoria Justice, Kate Upton and many more.

Lawrence was the most outspoken about the photo leak. “It is not a scandal. It is a sex crime. It is a sexual violation. It’s disgusting. The law needs to be changed, and we need to change. That’s why these Web sites are responsible. Just the fact that somebody can be sexually exploited and violated, and the first thought that crosses somebody’s mind is to make a profit from it. It’s so beyond me. I just can’t imagine being that detached from humanity. I can’t imagine being that thoughtless and careless and so empty inside,” she told Vanity Fair.

4. Ray Rice Hits Janay in an Elevator

Ray Rice and his wife Janay were all over the news this past fall when a video surfaced of him knocking her unconscious in an elevator surfaced. The video was from Valentine’s Day 2014. The whole situation is really shady. Once the video became public, Janay tweeted an apology for her actions and then blamed the media for the situation getting out of control. Ray was suspended indefinitely from the NFL. According to Janay, this was the first and the only time that her hubby hit her; however, many people don’t believe this was an isolated incident.

Over the last few days, there have been more developments. Ray challenged his suspension from the NFL and won, so he has been reinstated to active NFL status. Janay has been on a PR campaign, giving interviews to ESPN and “The Today Show,” trying to change the public’s view of her husband. Sadly, many think she’s been brainwashed.

Hank Baskett found himself in hot water this past summer when a transsexual by the name of Ava Sabrina London claimed to have had a sexual encountered with the married father of two. Worst of all, Kendra Wilkinson was reportedly eight months pregnant with their daughter Alijah when this happened. According to London, Baskett tried to buy her silence by leaving her $2,500 in cash and offering another $5,000. Paying for her silence didn’t work though – she still ended up selling told her story.

Since news of the affair broke, Wilkinson and Baskett have been trying to work it in front of the cameras on their reality TV show, “Kendra on Top.” While it seemed as though she was going to file for divorce, it now looks like these two have decided to work towards a reconciliation. We never really knew Kendra could be so forgiving!

2. Bill Cosby Rape Allegations

Bill Cosby has been dogged by rape allegations for over a decade now; however, for the most part, he’s been able to ignore them or force them to go away. This all changed when Hannibal Buress included the allegations in his stand up routine several weeks back. More than a dozen women have since come forward, claiming that “ The Cosby Show” star drugged and raped them. Some of these accusations date all the way back to the late ‘60s.

Cosby has stayed pretty silent following the slew of allegations; however, his career has been negatively affected. His scheduled appearances on “Late Show with David Letterman” and “The Queen Latifah Show” have been canceled and reruns of “The Cosby Show” have been pulled. NBC has also scrapped the sitcom it was developing with him. Cosby has never been charged in criminal court for any of these allegations; however, one woman, Andrea Constand, took him to civil court and he settled with her out of court in 2006.

1. Stephen Collins Molestation Allegations

Stephen Collins’ world came tumbling down a couple of months ago when an audiotape was released where he is heard admitting that he had molested several underage girls. His career has fallen apart as a result. He was immediately fired from “Ted 2;” he was also forced to drop out of the Screen Actors Guild; and reruns of “7^th Heaven” have been pulled indefinitely.

Collins has kept pretty quiet since the audiotape was leaked; however, people in his camp are not happy with his estranged wife, Faye Grant. These two were in the middle of a pretty acrimonious split and his lawyer believes that she was the one who leaked the tape. According to him, she had reportedly been using it to blackmail Collins into giving her more than money than she was legally entitled to. None of that really matters anymore. Since the allegations have been made public, the NYPD and the LAPD have opened investigations on him.
