12. Jack Is Back!

You read right … and you won’t see him as a ghost in Salem either! Reports surfaced this summer that actor Matthew Ashford would be once again returning to reprise his role of Jack Deveraux on DOOL. While there is little in terms of information around the storyline that is bringing Jack back, he will indeed be “alive” and is scheduled to appear on New Year’s Eve.

11. New Character Alert

A new character is about to emerge in Salem by the name of Haley Chen, and it looks like she’ll be J.J. Deveraux’s new love interest. Actress and American Idol alum Thia Megia is joining the cast of Days, and the character is slated to be linked to Salem’s hospital in some way. While an official airdate is unknown, reports indicate that she will appear on the show before 2019 hits.

10. Doug Sightings!

For all you fans that love Doug and Julie Williams, Bill Hayes, the actor who plays the part of Doug, has indicated via Twitter that Doug will be appearing Days the following dates in December: the 11th, 18th, 21st, and Christmas Eve. It’s a special time of year in Salem and for the Hortons and having Doug around for the holidays on DOOL makes it that much more heartwarming.

9. Brady and Chloe Reunion?

With Lucas somewhat out of the Salem picture, it may be time for Chloe to move on, and what better love story than one of a super couple reunion! DOOL spoilers tease that as Chloe fights for the right to raise Baby Holly, Brady will “be there” for her. Do we smell love in the air, or is that just gingerbread baking?
